SpermCheck Vasectomy is a home test that provides a cost effective method for assessing sterility following a vasectomy in the privacy and convenience of one’s own home. Using a patented bio-marker, SP-10 (the same technology being evaluated by forensic crime labs), SpermCheck Vasectomy accurately measures sperm count at a cutoff of 200,000 sperm per ml; a level recommended by Urologists to confirm male sterility following a vasectomy.
It is hoped that the introduction of this new technology will greatly increase the compliance of recently vasectomized men and reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies in families that are looking for a permanent and safe solution for their birth control needs.
